I love the change of season. As we move into autumn and the sting of the summer heat starts to fade, the leaves on trees change colour and the afternoon sun has a more golden glow than bright shine.
Autumn also brings a change in the fresh produce that’s available at farmers markets and your local green grocer, giving us the chance to change up our diets.

Autumn salad recipe
After a quick easy meal? Why not throw together an autumn salad?
- Baby spinach
- Fresh figs sliced into wedges
- Pears chopped
- Handful of raw chopped walnuts
- Goat’s fetta
Mix together in a bowl and add a splash of balsamic vinegar
As the weather cools, you can’t go past a hearty potato and leek soup, served with a dollop of natural yoghurt and fresh chopped herbs.
