I'm struggling to keep motivated to stick to my exercise routine. What do you do to stay motivated?

I am in a similar boat...recently I have been setting more realistic exercise goals which I know I can achieve. I have also been writing down the exercise I do in a diary along with a food diary to see the impacts day to day on my energy levels. It has helped me to stay on track and keep motivated. Good luck!

Dude, tell me about it! It's always so hard getting back into the swing of things after the silly season!

I definitely think it's about "goal-setting"!
Since Christmas, my "comfy jeans" became... not so comfy - a BIG shock, and a definite motivator!

Have you set yourself a goal?

I find it helps to tell others, tell someone at work or your partner, then you will find yourself more accountable as they start to ask you whether you went to the gym last night, or went for that run/walk etc.
Also, don't overdo it. We all get excited about something, and then after 2 weeks of going everyday we get tired and stop. As Claire said - go for realistic and achievable goals.
Good Luck!

I train with a friend, so if I've agreed to meet her at a certain time on a certain day I have to go for a run instead of curling up on the lounge to watch TV.

I do the same as Kate - I meet a friend for a run two mornings per week so that I have to get up.
