Blackmores Enterprise Agreement (Working Together)
Through our EA, staff have told us what they needed to make Blackmores a great place to work, and we listened. Blackmores’ longstanding agreement was recently renegotiated, to create a working environment that is fair, flexible and practical. The latest agreement was supported by 96% of staff.
Flexible workplace
Blackmores has a number of employees working part-time (21%), in job share arrangements, and over “split” shifts or with flexible hours so that they can more easily manage their work/life balance.
Maternity Leave
Paid maternity leave (up to twelve weeks) and paid paternity leave (two weeks) is available for permanent staff.
2. Focusing on staff wellbeing
Employee Assistance Program
Offers employees the opportunity to obtain professional assistance through confidential counselling to assist employees with personal problems and difficulties.
Staff Liaison Committee
Developed with the aim of facilitating and monitoring a working environment with strong two-way communication between management and staff. The objective of the committee is mutually beneficial, and aims to improve the standard of working life and the overall performance of all employees.
Subsidised Cafe
Blackmores’ Campus features an inviting staff café providing a wide range of healthy, nutritious meals and refreshments for staff.
Wellness Centre
The staff Wellness Centre is at the heart of the building and incorporates treatment rooms for massage and naturopathy, a yoga and pilates area, new gym with updated equipment, changing facilities and a 20m lap pool.

Blackmores’ staff receive substantial discounts on the Blackmores range of products.
3. Financial Security
Blackmores acknowledges the importance of financial security for its employees and makes every attempt to assist them in this area through no cost superannuation, financial support when sick, a share acquisition plan and competitive remuneration.
Profit Share
All permanent employees are eligible to participate in Blackmores Profit Share Scheme, calculated at 10% of after tax profit.

4. Encouraging Healthy Values
Permanent staff members are entitle to one “Be your Best” day each year, in which they are encouraged to take a day out of the office to support their favourite cause by volunteering or to undertake their own personal development activity.
